How long does a spray tan last?
Most spray tans last 5 to 10 days. Rapid rinse solutions typically last 5 to 8 days and overnight solutions 7 to 10, and some clients see 12 to 14 days. How you prep your skin and care for it afterward makes the biggest difference. Daily moisturizing with a tan-safe lotion like our Lemon Drop Shimmer Moisturizer helps your color fade evenly.
How do I prepare for a spray tan?
Shave, wax, and exfoliate at least 24 hours before your appointment, then shower at least 3 hours before. Arrive with clean skin and skip lotion, oil, makeup, perfume, and deodorant the day of your tan. Moisturize in the days leading up to it, just not the day of. See our full prep guide.
What should I wear to a spray tan?
Wear loose, dark clothing and slides or sandals. Skip bras, leggings, jeans, tight socks, and closed-toe shoes so your color can develop without rubbing. You can be tanned in disposable underwear, your own underwear, a bathing suit, or nothing at all, whatever feels comfortable.
Spray tan vs self tanner: which is better?
A professional spray tan gives you the most even, custom-blended color, matched to your undertone by an artist, which is why it is the go-to for weddings, events, and photoshoots. A quality self tanner is perfect for keeping your glow up between appointments. Most of our clients use both, pairing a spray tan with our sweat-resistant self-tanning mousse.
How much does a spray tan cost?
In Nashville, an in-studio spray tan in Brentwood is $95, and your first tan is $69. Concierge spray tans that come to you start at $80 per person: solo is $150, 2 to 4 guests are $95 each, and 5 or more guests are $80 each. Book 6 or more and the bride glows free.
